The primary use of martingale collars is to provide additional security for dogs that can back out, or slip out of traditional collars. For this reason martingale collars are also known as non-slip collars and are ideal for sighthounds and other breeds with slim heads and long necks or those with a "Houdini" inclination. Martingale collars also provide additional control over your dog and gently tighten as they pull but do not choke the dog like other types of training collars.

Please measure your hound's neck to avoid incorrect sizing.
26-30 CM (XS) Suitable for most young/small Whippets and some Italian Greyhounds. In selected colours only
30-42 CM (S) Suitable for most Whippets and other medium breeds
33-47 CM (L) Suitable for most Greyhounds and other larger breeds
39-55 CM (XL) Suitable for large breeds with thicker necks
To fit, slip collar overhead and adjust to the base of the neck. This should fit neat on the neck with room to slide two fingers in between the neck and collar.

We recommend the Martingale for use when walking only. If collars remain on at all times they can loosen and may get caught on something.
For your pet's safety, attach any ID tags to one of the loops on the collar - not the large D ring.
